$5 Million Gift To FurtheR POSITION EPIC

Thanks to the generous gift of the University of Chicago Trustee Donald R. Wilson, Jr. AB'88 and chief eexecutive officer of principal trading firm DRW, the Energy Policy Institute at the University of Chicago (EPIC) will receive $5 million over the next five years to advance its interdisciplinary research, strategic outreach, and education and training efforts.

On September 30th, Harris Public Policy began a new chapter. Thanks to the generosity of Dennis and Connie Keller and the family of King Harris, who together donated $32.5 million to support the school in 2014, renovations have officially begun on the Keller Center, Harris's future home.

$100 MILLION DOLLAR GIFT CREATES INSTITUTE TO CONFRONT GLOBAL CONFLICTS

The landmark gift from The Thomas L. Pearson and The Pearson Family Members Foundation is equal in size to the second-largest gift in the University's history. The University of Chicago received the gift to establish the first research institute and annual global forum of their kind devoted solely to the study and resolution of global conflicts.

THEASTER GATES TO LEAD CULTURAL POLICY PARTNERSHIP

Renowned artist and faculty member Theaster Gates will lead a new partnership between the University of Chicago's Arts + Public Life Initiative and Harris Public Policy. HARRIS AND OPEN SOCIETY FOUNDATIONS PARTNER TO OFFER GLOBAL INTERNSHIPS

Harris Public Policy is the second American institution to be invited to participate in the OSF Summer Internship for Rights and Governance. The 8 to 12-week internships begin with 2 weeks of seminars at Central European University followed by placement in an OSF-funded organization.
